Caspani Tino is an Italian company which produces luxury furniture.
The company wants to broaden its distribution network in China and its collaboration with local design studios. The aim is high-end positioning of the brand and the planning of villas.
THE PROJECT
Retex, through its Chinese subsidiary, participated in the Milan Furniture Fair and the Shanghai Design Week as a representative of Caspani Tino in the country. Retex also mapped, contacted, and organized face-to-face meetings with distributors and design studios in China to evaluate collaboration opportunities, ultimately selecting and advising the best candidates from around 300 options, including those from tiers 1 and 2. Finally, it supported Italian designers in furnishing projects for villas.
RESULTS
- Contacts with more than 120 new distributors and design studios in the first 12 months; acquired cooperation with 20 new individuals.
- 100% increase in the first year of sales and profits; continued expansion with 50% growth YOY in the following two years.
- 400% increase in sales in China after the first 3 years.
- Partnership with the best classic, luxury, furniture brands in the Chinese market.
